State Fair 2008

This last week we had the chance to go down to the fair and enjoy some time together has a family. The boys had a blast riding on the rides and enjoying all the yummy food. I have to say I love going to the fair, not quite sure why, yet to figure that one out. But as long as I can remember we always would head down to the fair grab something yummy to eat, walk through the building and then head for the rides. I guess maybe I want my kids to have the great memories of the fair like I have or maybe I am still a kid at heart. Jake's 1st corn dog from the Fair

Austen 1st Science Project

Austen had his first Science project for the year. I am sure there will be more to follow. He was so funny he came to me on Sunday after noon, a little nervous may I add and told me that he had a project due tomorrow. I asked him what he had to do and he say make the earth and show the layer inside the earth. He had to use things that we had around the house, that was one of his teachers rules. I had a few things and this is what he came up with I was very proud of him. I just need to say that he was so excited when him and his dad finished it last night at 11:00. So here it is his finished projected made out of Fruit Loops.

The center is crushed Fruit Loops

He was so proud of his work

When he came home from school, I asked what his techer thought and she told him, that he did a very good job and it looked yummy! Way to go Austen I am very proud of you.

Camping over Labor Day !

My parents went up to Green Canyon for Labor Day to camp for the weekend. We decided to go up Saturday for the day and let the kids go swimming and play around the camp site for awhile. It was so nice to get away and relax. We had a great time swimming, had a wonderful dinner and just enjoyed time with family.

Happy Grandparents Day!

I thought I would do a little post on my parents and Mike's parents for Grandparents Day to tell how much I love and am so grateful that my children have such wonderful grandparents. And how grateful I am also to have such wonderful grandparents who love me and have supported everything that I do.

As a mother I am so grateful to have such wonderful parents on both sides that show my children so much love. They are always there to support my children in everything that they do. I love all of you so much and will never be able to thank you enough for everything that you guys have done for my children. Have a great Grandparents Day and remeber how much we love you guys and how blessed we are to have you as parents and grandpa's and grandma's.

Jake's Cowboy Boots

I bought Jake his 1st pair of cowboy boots the other day and he loves them. Stephanie's little Carter got some the other day and when Jake saw them he loved them, so I decided to go and grab him a pair. Let me tell that we have to wear them everywhere just like the football helmet. He loves to wear them all over the house and when I take them off of him, he will try to put them back on by himself. Gotta love the little personalities they start to come out at this age. I love him so much everyday he is trying something new. The pictures are not the best, but they are as good as they are going to get when you are trying to get something on the run. Also I thought I would throw in the picture of Jake's thighs. Have you ever seen so much meat on a little thigh. I love my chunky monkey.

Austen and Tanner's 1st game

Football season is off to a great start. Austen and Tanner had their first game tonight against Eagle Rock. They played them in a jamboree on Saturday and got we are bums kicked, but tonight they did awesome they took the game by 5-0. They played really hard as a team. I absolutely love watching my boys play ball. They are so much fun to see them play and watch them get excited, Mike is helping coach so me and Jake sit on the sidelines and cheer. I had to had a picture of Jake, he can't be left out of the fun, so we found him Austen's old football helmet. He wears it everywhere.

First Day of School

Well the day has finally came to head back to school. I have to say that I have bitter sweet feeling about today. I am so ready for the routine things to start again or should I say at least try to get into a routine. Life is crazy! I will miss summer it went way to fast. I love watching the boys play and staying up late and just enjoying the warm weather, but getting back to the normal life of bedtimes, dinner at a regular time and just feeling some what organized will be great. The boys were so excited for school to start to day a little nervous, but the did great. Austen will be in the 5th grade and Tanner in the 4th. I know it seems like yesterday that they weren't even old enough to go to school and now they will be in Junior High before I know it that is scary. Also today after we got the boys off to school Jake and I head out to do some things and meet my sisters and mom for some yummy lunch and a little shopping after the shopping Jake and I headed off to the doctors for his 15 month check-up and yes, the dreaded shots. He was a little upset, but over all he did pretty well. I just want to tell me 3 boys how much I love them and how proud I am of them. Just a little side note Jake was a little at sad to take any pictures of his shots. I will have to post the later.

Last week Austen and Tanner started Grid Kid Football. I can't believe that they are both playing this year. It is crazy how fast they are growing up. Tanner was alittle nervous this being his first year and not knowing what to expect. Austen he was so excited. He literally eats, sleeps and drinks football, he talkes about it every minute of everyday and is always trying to find someone to play football with him. They are both doing really well and I am so proud of them. I love watching them ride of on their bikes with their pads and water bottles and head to football practice. I love them both so much and am so proud of them both. I can't wait to watch them playin their first game. I love watching my boys play sports it is fun to watch them grow from the beginning to the end. He is a couple of shots of their 1st practice

Look who's mobile....

Jake!! We went to the park Sunday for a picnic and here's a few sots of Jake moving around with his "lion" - grrrrrrr!

And if I had some honey butter I spread it on these cute little "rolls" and gobble them right up!!
My camera is still MIA - which really bums me out! My camera and a pair of Mike's work pants are missing - my camera was setting on top of his pants. It really bums me out, I really am hoping that someone didn't come into my house and take it, that would be kinda scary. Hoping I or someone else has just misplaced it and can't remember!! But we all have racked our brains. So frustrating!!

Lost Camera

Well I was so excited to start this blogging thing, but I have either misplaced my camera, someone has walked off with it, or it grew legs and walked out of my house. It is driving my crazy. And it is not much fun to blog without pictures. We have had some exciting this happen this month so I will blog about them as soon as I can get some pictures. Jake had his 1st birthday last week. I have to thank my sister Chris and sister-in-law Shannon for taking pictures of this special day. I will get them from them soon and them do a little post about my sweet little pea turning one.
